Haze

This electronic chillout track comes from my Tropical Haze EP. Parts of this, along with parts of the track ’Tropical Night’ formed another track called ’Tropical Haze’, which was where the title of the EP stems from.

I had wanted to do something that reminded me of the haze that’s sometimes around when being in tropical regions (kind of like what’s on the comer image). I thought the timbre of synths and the slurred vocal were quite a good fit for that.

The glitchy drums and delayed vocal stabs were intended to represent the random noises heard when you’re in that kind of environment (i.e. dripping water from transpiration of plants, creatures moving around in the undergrowth, etc., etc.). Hopefully this comes across to some degree.
